I currently teach in a grade 4 class in Vancouver. Over the past years I've taught quite a range of ages and subjects – everything from grade 2 to grade 12. Thankfully I've now found my niche teaching intermediate classes. I like to bring in technology into my class when appropriate, but I believe it's important to remember that technology isn't always better, and should only be incorporated when it is the superior option. I am lucky enough to live in Vancouver, Canada with my beautiful wife and the world’s friendliest dog. I was born in Nelson and love to return there when I have time. I love to get outside, whether it’s skiing in the winter or lounging by a lake in the summer. |

I am a mom of two awesome boys, 12 and 10. The older one loves to play football and dreams to play with Barcelona .On the other hand the younger one is an intellectual child, who has been reading, blogging about human body since he was 5 years old. His passion is to become a neurosurgeon one day. They keep me busy! This is my 3rd year teaching in UAE. I absolutely love making a difference in students' lives by helping them see how fun and meaningful learning can be! I also love teaching and working with adults. |

My working career has included many a fulfilling year assisting students, staff and faculty in post-secondary education. At the same time, I have earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and am currently taking the Masters of Educational Technology degree program through UBC. Any spare time has been spent volunteering for wonderful charities, connecting with family - including our English Springer Spaniel and with friends spread across Canada and Europe, and painting. Most photos find me behind the camera. Technology comes in all forms. Technology is one of life's adventures worth the exploration. |
